The NACUSA Mid-Atlantic board has recently selected three of Guthrie’s compositions to be featured during their 2022-23 season. These include his yet unperformed Nocturnes and Nightmares (so stay tuned for more on those!), as well as his beloved A Farewell Elegy, and his lighthearted and fun Piano Trio no. 1 from nearly a decade ago!

On Saturday, November 20th, 2021, Guthrie’s music was, for the first time (but hopefully not the last), performed in two locations – both regional premieres. These included his Snake Island at the University of North Florida’s jemFEST and his Venture Picayune at Florida State University’s Fall EChO Concert.
