Ian Guthrie selected for FSU Festival of New Music

Out of nearly 800 contestants of all ages, Guthrie is one of only 31 composers to have his composition (the new Lavelatla commissioned by Eirene Duo) highlighted at FSU’s biennial Festival of New Music. The concerts run from Jan. 30-Feb. 1st at Florida State University!

Two new artist-in-residencies!

Ian Guthrie has recently been invited to serve as the artist-in-residency for July-August for the Chinquapin Center for the Arts and a residency in late December with Centrum. He will be composing extensive works specifically related to the topic of global climate change.
