Ian Guthrie winning big on the piano side, too

On Sunday, the Great Composers Competition¬†(“A series of international competitions for classical instrumentalists and singers”) awarded Guthrie 3rd prize in both the Music of the 19th Century (Beethoven, Piano Sonata no. 32 in C minor, 1st movement) and Music of the 20th Century (Corigliano, Fantasia on an Ostinato).
